QMT Windchimes^® has a profound appreciation for the work of charitable organizations, and actively supports nonprofit groups serving our local community as well as those reaching out to meet global needs.  QMT contributes 20% of each on-line purchase to a nonprofit organization each month. Read below to learn about the work of this month's partner as well as organizations we've partnered with in past months.

CASA Children's Intervention Services CASA Children Intervention Services of Greater Prince William & Fauquier provides court advocates for children with the mission to protect and serve children who are abused, neglected, abandoned and endangered.

American Red Cross in the National Capital Region

The American Red Cross in the National Capital Region, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people in our community prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters and other life-threatening emergencies.

First proclaimed in 1943 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, March has been Red Cross month each year since.  The American Red Cross is synonymous with helping people, and has been doing so for more than 130 years.  QMT is proud to support the lifesaving work of the American Red Cross.  Visit their website for an additional promo code.

Almost Heaven Habitat for Humanity

Almost Heaven Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people of all faiths and races to create and improve communities for people in need by building and renovating houses and creating home-ownership opportunities. Our mission is to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness in Eastern West Virginia and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. 

American Kidney Fund

The American Kidney Fund fights kidney disease by supporting patients, health education programs and disease prevention initiatives. The fund strives to ensure that kidney patients have access to quality health care and that people at risk of kidney disease are educated and informed.

Breast Cancer Research Foundation

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation was created in 1993 with the mission of discovering a cure. Eventually, breast cancer prevention became an equal part of this mission, and BCRF continues to work toward these goals by helping to provide research funding and increase public awareness of breast health. Currently, more than 90 cents of every dollar donated to BCRF goes to breast cancer research and awareness programs!

Brethren Housing Corporation

Brethren Housing Corporation has been providing sustainable housing to those in need since 1987.  Brethren Housing serves low and moderate income individuals and families in Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park City by providing affordable housing.

Brethren Disaster Ministries

Brethren Disaster Ministries works to restore hope for the most vulnerable disaster survivors. Volunteers work to repair and rebuild homes damaged by natural disasters, war, or strife. BDM also works to provide grants to help with life-saving emergency supplies, and tools to reestablish lives and restore infrastructures.

The Cancer Research Institute

The Cancer Research Institute strives to discover and develop new, immune-based approaches to the treatment, control, and prevention of cancer.  The Institute fulfills its mission by providing academic researchers at top institutions around the world the funding they need to research new approaches to fighting cancer.

Compassion International

During the month of July, QMT Windchimes is proud to support Compassion International, a foundation built on the principle of “Releasing Children from Poverty Around the World.” QMT will donate 20% of our general online sales on our website to this exceptional organization that “to date, has touched the lives of more than 2 million children, working with more than 65 denominations and thousands of indigenous church partners.” At QMT, we believe in partnering with organizations that not only have financial integrity but those that make a difference in the lives of others. Compassion International is involved in many aspects of bettering the lives of children across the globe, from providing urgent medical assistance to providing basic necessities such as food and education.

Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organization working in nearly 70 countries to assist people whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe.

Good Shepherd Alliance

A Christian organization in Loudoun County, Virginia, the Good Shepherd Alliance has been providing emergency housing and near term support for the homeless since 1983. It is a unique organization in that it addresses both short-term and long-term needs for its families.

The Joy to Life Foundation

The Joy to Life Foundation has a simple mission:provide free mammograms in Alabama for medically underserved women ages 40 - 49 who do not have the resources for early detection of breast cancer.

Since being founded in 2001 by breast cancer survivor Joy Blondheim and her husband, Dickie, the Joy to Life Foundation has been able to provide over 5,445 mammograms to date, and 25 women have been diagnosed and successfully treated!

Medical Missionaries

Medical Missionaries is a volunteer group of over 200 doctors, nurses and medical professionals. They serve poverty and disaster-stricken people across the globe by providing medical care, clothing, medical supplies, and food to people who would otherwise be forced to make do without medical care.

Mennonite Central Committee

Mennonite Central Committee works with local churches and communities in more than 50 countries to aid in disaster relief and to promote sustainable community development, justice, and peace-building work. Additionally, MCC works with organizations to provide basic education to children in underprivileged areas, as well as organizations involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Mennonite Disaster Service

Mennonite Disaster Service (MDS) is a volunteer network of Anabaptist churches that responds in Christian love to those affected by disasters in Canada and the US. MDS has over a dozen active projects throughout the United States and Canada, serving communities affected by flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters.  Most recently, Mennonite Disaster Service has begun working with residents of Minot North Dakota following extensive flooding in their community.

Ronald McDonald House - Charlottesville, VA

The Charlottesville Ronald McDonald House supports families whose children are recieving treatment for serious illness or injury.   Many children must travel far from home to recieive the medical treatments they need, and the the Ronald McDonald House provides housing for their families.

Our Ronald McDonald House program provides a “home-away-from-home” for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost. Our Houses are built on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest.   http://rmhcharlottesville.org/

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. 

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army works worldwide to offer servies promoting health, evangelism, community development, emergency services and women's ministries according to local needs.  The Salvation Army is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church with its own distinctive governance and practice. Its doctrine follows the mainstream of Christian belief and its articles of faith emphasise God’s saving purposes.

Semper Fi Fund & Fisher House Foundation

The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is a non-profit organization set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. The Fisher House program is a private-public partnership that supports America's military in their time of need.
